Chapter 142 Harry’s Arrival
Chapter 142 Harry’s Arrival
Three days passed, and Aris learned some basic information:
1. In order to deal with Voldemort's return, Professor Dumbledore restarted the Order of the Phoenix. The Order of the Phoenix was originally created by Professor Dumbledore to deal with Voldemort, but was temporarily disbanded more than ten years ago because Voldemort was defeated by the infant Harry.
2. Sirius generously gave up the old Black house: Number 12 Grimmauld Place, allowing Professor Dumbledore to set up the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix here.
3. Voldemort disappeared after his resurrection. He concealed his whereabouts and was obviously planning something. The Ministry of Magic in particular was likely being slowly infiltrated by Voldemort.
In the past few days, Aeris, Hermione and their companions, led by Mrs. Weasley, began to clean up the old house room by room.
This is not an easy task. This old house seems to have its own consciousness, and it fights against everyone's cleaning together with old Kreche.
Sometimes, Sirius would also join in the work of cleaning the room. Although there was something wrong with Regulus before, his attitude towards old Kreche was still not so friendly.
Sirius wanted to throw away all the magical objects related to the old Black house.
Old Kleche wanted to preserve as many relics of his ancestors as possible, and the master and servant often quarreled over this.
Sirius: "Kreche, if you stop us from cleaning the room, it means... clothes..."
Old Kleche bowed and said, "Of course Old Kleche will not stop Master Sirius, but will Master Sirius really drive Old Kleche away? When Old Kleche knows so many secrets of the Dark Lord rebels..."
Sirius was about to lose his temper, but Aeris quickly tried to smooth things over. "Not at all, Sirius," Aeris said, "Mr. Krecher is not a tool for you to vent your dissatisfaction with the family."
Aris handed over a large bag of various magical items of the Black family to old Kreche. "Here, Mr. Kreche," Aris said. "I will try to leave you what I have packed."
Old Kreche took the bag, bowed hastily to Aeris, and left with the bag.
"You're too indulgent with it, Aeris!" Sirius said somewhat dissatisfiedly.
"You are too harsh on Mr. Kreche, Sirius. These things are of no importance to you, so it is harmless for Mr. Kreche to keep them, right?" Aeris said, "Mr. Kreche is a creature with rich emotions. You can't always treat him as an object."
"Listen to the tone of your voice, Aeris, you're becoming more and more like Dumbledore!" Sirius said impatiently.
Hermione looked at Aeris with relief, and persuaded Sirius: "But you can't deny that what Aeris said makes sense. If... I mean if... you can free Kreche..."
"Stop it, Hermione!" Aeris said with a smile, "For an old house-elf, your proposal is tantamount to asking old Krecher's life."
Sirius also smiled bitterly and shook his head.
In this way, the Blake old house was cleaned during the day, and in the evening, many people would come over for secret gatherings to share the information they had found out.
Of course, students like Aries were not qualified to attend the gatherings of the Order of the Phoenix. Not to mention whether Professor Dumbledore agreed or not, they couldn't even get past Mrs. Weasley.
Whenever the adults had a meeting, Mrs. Weasley would cast various spells at the door of their meeting room to prevent detection and eavesdropping, and then lock the door, which made the various gadgets invented by Fred and George useless.
"We're adults now, aren't we?" Fred grumbled.
"Mom is afraid that we'll find out and tell Ronnie and the others..." George said with deep conviction.
Professor Dumbledore showed up once these days. He took Aeris alone to the living room on the second floor, where he had set up a very sophisticated concealing magic.
"Aeris," Professor Dumbledore said seriously, "I need you to teach Harry the art of Occlumency during the rest of the summer vacation. Do your best. In this room. I have set up a cover here. You can ignore the Ministry of Magic's supervision here. This is very important. I can only ask you, Aeris..."
"Of course, Professor, no problem," said Aris, "I'll do my best..."
After giving instructions to Aeris, Professor Dumbledore left in a hurry.
On the evening of the fourth day after Aris arrived at the Black mansion, before dinner, when the meeting between the Order of the Phoenix members had just begun, Harry, escorted by Mad-Eye Moody, Remus, Kingsley Shacklebolt... and a large group of people, arrived at Number 12 Grimmauld Place.
After a busy day, the companions were chatting in Hermione and Ginny's bedroom when Aris sensed Harry's arrival.
"Let's go," Aris said suddenly, "Harry is here, let's go greet him. Is there anyone coming with me?"
"Potter is here?" Draco said, "I thought Professor Dumbledore was really going to leave him in that damn place for the entire summer vacation!"
Draco stood up and left the room with Aris, followed by Hermione, Ron and Ginny.
As soon as they came down the stairs, they saw Harry being brought over by Mrs. Weasley.
Harry looked a little tired and exhausted. When he saw his friends, he looked happy, but then a little resentful.
"Harry!" Hermione ran to Harry excitedly and hugged him warmly. After Hermione let go of Harry, Ginny also threw herself into Harry's arms.
Harry and Ginny were affectionate for a while, then Harry let go of Ginny and looked at Aris, Draco and Ron.
Aeris, Draco and Ron rolled their eyes in unison and said in unison: "That's too corny, Harry (Potter), don't expect us to hug you..."
Then there was an eerie silence for a while. "Can't you just go to another room and stop making trouble?" Mrs. Weasley said irritably.
Everyone quickly took Harry to the second floor, to Hermione and Ginny's bedroom.
"Harry," Hermione spoke first, "We know that you have been sued by the Ministry of Magic. I have looked up a lot of information. Don't worry, they will never be able to fire you for that unfounded reason..."
"Well, Hermione," said Aris, "let him catch his breath..."
"What the hell is going on?" said Harry glumly.
"What's going on, buddy?" Ron asked in confusion.
"Voldemort!" Harry burst out suddenly. "Where is he? What does he want? How are we going to deal with him..."
"Has that place confused your brain, Potter?" Draco frowned. "What makes you think they'd tell us that?"
"You know it's a terrible place, don't you?" Harry said loudly and recklessly, "But why did Dumbledore imprison me there?"
"You misunderstood Professor Dumbledore..." Aris said sincerely.
"Maybe he thinks I can't be trusted..." said Harry.
"You're overthinking it mate..." Ron tried to comfort Harry.
"Or he thinks I can't take care of myself..." Harry was still overcome with emotion.
"That's not the case, Harry..." said Hermione.
Harry was now so excited that even Hedwig, who was delighted to see him coming, stayed away from him.
"Then why do I have to stay in that damn place while you guys know everything and get to participate in everything? Am I not as qualified as you?" Harry roared.
"The truth is, Harry, we don't know much more than you do..." said Aeris.
"Should I feel sorry for you?" Harry said sarcastically, "But you stay here, don't you? But I've been trapped in the Dursleys' for a whole month... a month... You're definitely not interested in knowing how hard it's been for me, are you? Dumbledore turned a blind eye to me... Who protected the Philosopher's Stone..."
"Isn't it Lord Merlin?" Draco said nonchalantly.
"Who rescued Ginny..." Harry continued.
"It seems to be Lord Slytherin!" Aeris said casually.
Harry glared at Aeris and Draco, then said, "Who else had to face thousands of Dementors? Just to save Sirius…"
"It seems like we all contributed..." Ginny said weakly.
"Who had to participate in that stupid competition last year? Dragon! Water monster! Maze..." Harry said without giving up.
"Grindelwald and I were also involved..." Draco said, "That's enough, Potter! Can you talk properly if you've vented enough?"
"No!" Harry yelled, his tone aggrieved, "I witnessed the whole process of that guy's resurrection. He was resurrected with my blood, but what right do I have to know the details? And what right do my best friends have to tell me what happened?"
"How is this moral kidnapping?" Aeris said speechlessly, but was glared at by Hermione.
Harry took a deep breath and began to pace back and forth in the bedroom, ignoring everyone.
"Where is this place?" Harry suddenly asked.
"You've been here before, haven't you?" Aeris said, "The Black Mansion..."
"You know that's not what I'm asking, Aris!" said Harry impatiently.
"This is the Order of the Phoenix!" said Ron.
"Then please tell me what the Order of the Phoenix is!" said Harry.
"An organization to fight against the Dark Lord!" Draco said, "Founded by Professor Dumbledore."
