When the phone rang, Li Yan was lying in bed, hugging a pillow, with a smile still lingering on her face.

Duan Yujing's voice came from the other end of the phone.

Just as Li Yan was about to answer, she suddenly heard a knock on the door, which sounded particularly abrupt in the quiet room, like a discordant note breaking the peace.

"Yujing, wait a minute, someone's knocking on the door."
Li Yan spoke softly into the phone, then put it aside and got up to open the door.
As soon as the door opened, Gu Tingyan stood in the doorway.
He looked at Li Yan and said nervously, "Mom, we're leaving tomorrow to go to the beach."

She hadn't been to the beach in a long time, let alone with her whole family.
Immediately, images of golden sand, blue sea, and warm sunshine appeared in her mind, like a beautiful painting unfolding before her eyes.
"Really? That's great!" Li Yan's eyes sparkled.
However, she quickly thought of her daughter and asked directly, "Ayan, what about our daughter? Is she coming back?"
Gu Tingyan breathed a sigh of relief and nodded with a smile: "Mom, my sister has agreed, but she has something to do at school and won't be back until tomorrow."
Upon hearing this, Li Yan was so excited she almost jumped up.
Seeing Li Yan's excited expression, Gu Tingyan smiled and said, "Mom, you should get some rest. We have to travel tomorrow."
After saying that, he turned and left.

She closed the door and picked up her phone again.

Li Yan excitedly said into the phone, "Yu Jing, do you know what? We're going to the beach tomorrow, the whole family is going together. I haven't been this excited in a long time."
