Gu Tingyan was probably busy, and it took him five minutes to review Tingyu's message.
"Okay, then please take good care of Li Yan."
Gu Tingyu gripped his phone tightly, blinked his peach blossom eyes, and stared in disbelief at the message sent by Gu Tingyan.

Gu Tingyu turned off his phone with a sigh of relief, looked at Li Yan with a hint of apology in his eyes, and said slowly.

Li Yan lay on the hospital bed, her expression calm and unresponsive.
She woke up at night.
Gu Tingyu went out to buy some things, but when he returned, he was met with Li Yan's clear gaze.
He was so excited that he threw what he was holding on the ground and ran to Li Yan in a few strides.
Gu Tingyu was about to hug Li Yan, but then he remembered her wounds and was afraid of hurting her, so he stopped himself and left his hands hanging in mid-air.
"Didn't you want to hug me? Why..." Li Yan glanced at his frozen hands, and the meaning behind her unfinished sentence was quite clear.
Gu Tingyu didn't feel embarrassed. He withdrew his hands, but didn't know what to do with them, so they just tangled together.
"I don't want to hurt you," Gu Tingyu said dryly.
Li Yan had only moved slightly when she aggravated her wound, causing her brows to furrow slightly.
Just as Gu Tingyu said, she was so vulnerable that he didn't dare to touch her at all; she was now like a broken doll covered in wounds.
A warm feeling flowed through her heart, and she looked at Gu Tingyu with a touch of emotion in her almond-shaped eyes. She never expected that he would feel sorry for her.
Gu Tingyu, like a little wolf cub who had done something wrong, stood expectantly in front of the hospital bed, yet his face showed surprise and delight.
"Li Yan, you're finally awake! Do you know how scared I was?"
Li Yan was about to say that she was fine, but she subconsciously gasped.

"Just call me if you need anything."
Gu Tingyu's concern surprised Li Yan, but she quickly smiled and winked at him.
"Okay, Xiaoyu."
Her expression was vivid and cute, but the bandages wrapped around her body inside and out made it look a bit comical.
Gu Tingyu looked at the scene before him and couldn't help but smile slightly.
This feeling seems pretty good.
Li Yan rested in the hospital bed for two days, and her wounds had almost healed.
She tried moving around and found that she wasn't in so much pain anymore, so she started playing with her hands.
She hasn't touched anything for the past two days, and she's almost suffocating from being cooped up.
Gu Tingyu brought food back to Li Yan and stepped into the ward. He was surprised to see that Li Yan was still able to use her phone.
He was furious and stared at Li Yan with the eyes one would use to look at a "rebellious girl," and began to make a few sarcastic remarks.
"Li Yan, you're really something! It's only been three days and you already insist on playing on your phone?"
"Look at your current situation! Who gave you the guts to play this game?"
