Chapter 101 Hao Jian's Revenge
Chapter 101 Hao Jian's Revenge
Hao Jian stuffed the smelly socks he had taken off a couple of days ago into her mouth, licked his lips with a wicked grin, and whispered "you" into her ear.
Song Yifei opened her eyes wide and before she could react, he picked her up and carried her step by step into the rain and into the forest.
Hao Jian threw her into a patch of grass, sat down, opened his umbrella and held it over his head, staring at her with a smile in his eyes, but his voice was icy cold, "I gave you a chance."
Song Yifei was completely confused and didn't understand what he meant.
Hao Jian chuckled, reached out and gently stroked her face, his fingertips running back and forth, explaining, "I still remember how you laughed at me and fawned over Cheng Ai during that game of collecting yellow puppets."
Song Yifei suddenly realized, cursing inwardly. Damn it, she just wanted more shots and to attract Ye Yingdi's attention. Who could have expected that this bastard would hold such a grudge?
Now that I'm in their hands, dignity and face don't matter; saving my life is the key.
Unfortunately, Song Yifei's mouth was gagged, so she couldn't speak.
Hao Jian pulled out a fruit knife and slashed a piece of flesh off her face. "I asked you to come with me before, but you didn't agree. Now it's too late for you to come."
Shock, pain, regret, anger, despair—countless complex emotions surged into Song Yifei's heart all at once. Tears streamed down her face, mingling with the raindrops, indistinguishable from one another.
"Waaaaah...waaaah..."
She tried her best to make a noise, but the remote location and the sounds of thunder and rain easily drowned out her sobs.
Hao Jian grinned maliciously. A flash of lightning streaked across the room, and the fruit knife gleamed silver. He swung the knife wildly, and finally, Song Yifei fainted from the pain, her face covered in blood.
Hao Jian stripped both of them naked, wrapped his coat around her head, and sang a symphony of life in the rain.
Afterwards, he picked up Song Yifei's phone, carried her back the way they came, and almost bumped into the furtive Wu Xu along the way, but luckily they dodged quickly.
Hao Jian threw the person onto his bed in his room, picked up a pair of smelly socks from a pile of them under the pillow, took out two pills, and stuffed them all into Song Yifei's mouth.
He sneered, went into the bathroom, quickly washed up, and jumped into bed to sleep.
Cheng Baoni, who lived next door, had heard the commotion long ago. She paced back and forth in her bedroom, wanting to go find Hao Jian countless times, but she held back.
People have pride, trees have bark. If someone is about to kill you, why would you throw yourself at them and die? That would be brain-dead.
Let's talk about Wu Xu. He sneaked out of the castle, crossed the forest, carefully avoided all the work sheds, and ran towards the car parked not far away by the production crew.
Before they could even get close, several bolts of lightning struck down with a crackling sound.
Wu Xu quickly retreated, only breathing a sigh of relief after escaping into the forest.
Ye Jingke came out of the work shed and looked at the sky with a puzzled expression. The lightning hadn't been attacking people randomly for the past two days, so what was going on? Could there be something wrong with the barrier?
At this moment, Zhao Nan walked up to him with her notebook and respectfully reported, "Mr. Ye, it's normal that Miss Cheng, Hao Jian, and Cheng Baoni didn't have a photographer following them, but it would be best if the other three could maintain a continuous flow in their shots."
He paused, then continued, "I just checked. There are fifteen shots that Zhong Zheyi needs to reshoot, thirty-two shots that Wu Xu needs to reshoot, and Song Yifei needs the fewest, only six shots. Time is tight, so please inform them in the group so they can prepare in advance."
Ye Jingke snapped out of his daze, hummed in response, and then took out his phone to edit and send a message.
Seeing this, Zhao Nan rolled her eyes and said weakly, "Although Miss Cheng performed very well, she had very few shots. Do you think we should add a few more for her?"
“No need!” Ye Jingke refused outright, his gaze darkening slightly. “Ai Ai is exhausted; let her rest.”
Zhao Nan's lips twitched. Cheng Ai was tired, but others were exhausted and on the verge of collapse. However, he dared not say this aloud, and could only secretly grumble in his heart.
Within ten minutes, the two returned to the castle with the photographer and props crew. Zhong Zheyi and Wu Xu were already waiting on the first floor, but one female guest was missing.
Ye Jingke cast an inquiring glance at Zhong Zheyi, who quickly explained, "Song Yifei is sleeping soundly in Hao Jian's room and can't be woken up."
As soon as these words came out, everyone was shocked.
My girlfriend is pregnant, and the father of the child not only wants to kill her, but also sleeps around with another woman. He's worse than an animal!
Ye Jingke's expression remained unchanged, and he quickly made a decision, "I remember there is a female lighting technician with a similar figure to Song Yifei, let her take over first, and we'll use chroma keying in post-production."
Zhao Nan was extremely surprised and inwardly gave a huge thumbs up. Mr. Ye truly lived up to his reputation as an emperor in both the business and entertainment circles; he had only seen that girl once from afar.
To be able to accurately identify someone's position based on just a blurry silhouette—that's impressive!
Not daring to delay, Zhao Nan immediately sent people to find it, and then explained to Zhong Zheyi and Wu Xu in detail the content of the scenes that needed to be re-recorded.
Ye Jingke didn't go looking for Cheng Ai. Instead, he sat in the restaurant and used his laptop to organize the miscellaneous documents in the company.
After a busy day, Zhao Nan finally managed to finish recording all the footage before the barrier failed.
At 6 p.m., the heavy rain stopped, the lightning disappeared, and the sky gradually returned to normal.
In an instant, the phone vibrated, rang, and sent messages incessantly.
Ye Jingke woke up Cheng Ai, who was sleeping soundly, while Zhong Zheyi went to call Hao Jian and Song Yifei.
In front of the castle’s main gate, all the surviving staff members gathered together, and the six guests stood in a row, all looking unwell.
Cheng Ai's injuries had completely healed thanks to the jade hairpin. She yawned repeatedly, her gaze slowly searching for Ye Jingke's figure in the crowd. When she met a pair of deep black eyes, she gave a silly smile, looking extremely cute.
Zhong Zheyi stood ramrod straight, his expression indifferent.
Song Yifei was still unconscious. Her casual clothes, long sleeves and trousers, seemed to be concealing something. The clothes covering her head had been replaced with a yellow gauze scarf. Hao Jian held her in his arms like a treasure, which made Cheng Baoni look resentful.
Zhao Nan pointed her phone at the guest, glanced at the screen, coughed awkwardly twice, and said loudly, "Hao Jian, take off the veil on Song Yifei's head. I want to take a group photo."
A fleeting look of panic crossed Hao Jian's eyes, but he quickly regained his composure. "Fei Mei's injuries are extremely severe, and she shouldn't be exposed to the wind. I hope the assistant director can understand."
Zhao Nan sighed helplessly. Even if he was displeased, he had no way to refute it, since the strange things happening in the castle still depended on them to keep it a secret.
Wait a minute! Shouldn't I draft a supplementary contract?
Without hesitation, Zhao Nan immediately whispered a few words to her assistant before returning to continue taking photos.
Seeing everyone looking constipated, he couldn't help but remind them, "Smile, your faces are too stiff."
The guests were already impatient, but in order to leave as soon as possible, they all forced a fake smile that looked worse than crying.
