Chapter 247 Percy's Abnormality

The Ministry of Magic was full of patrolling witch hunters with guns. Tao Wu carefully avoided their sight and walked to the hidden elevator through the blind spot.

The elevator to the Department of Mysteries was embedded in the wall at the end of the corridor, with huge portraits of Merlin and King Arthur hanging outside, perfectly concealing the elevator.

In fact, it is not perfect. After losing magic, the wizards' methods of hiding things are really too clumsy.

It is very likely that these witch hunters were so fond of slacking off at work that they did not bother to look for other passages, allowing this poor invisibility technique to slip through.

At the other end of the corridor, Selwyn knocked on the wooden door with his wand to attract the attention of the witch hunters on this floor. Tao Wu took the opportunity to slip into the elevator. The noise of Selwyn and the witch hunters running covered up the sound of the elevator.

The elevator reached the Department of Mysteries on the ninth underground floor.

In the corridor fifteen meters away from the elevator door, Percy was half bent over with his back to her, groping on the wall, as if looking for some hidden mechanism.

His right hand was pressed against the silk fabric of his clothes, moving slowly on the smooth fabric, and he reached into his pocket silently, taking the pistol in his hand.

She couldn't take the elevator back because it was full of witch hunters. She had to find the Hogwarts students as soon as possible.

"Hey, Percy, why are you here? There are witch hunters everywhere, why aren't you with Fudge?"

"The Minister and I got separated in the melee. There were strange Muggles everywhere. I took the opportunity to hide here. It seems I was lucky. They didn't find me."

As he spoke, he frowned slightly and looked at Tao Wu, as if he didn't understand why she suddenly appeared here.

"Luna? Why are you here? Shouldn't you be hiding with Ronnie and the others?"

"Didn't you hear what Ron and the others said? The school was also attacked. Professor Dumbledore and I stayed there to resolve the crisis in the school before rushing here."

"That was terrible. I couldn't even find Ron among so many students. I only knew that Hogwarts was attacked by Muggles, and I didn't know you stayed there."

"You mean, Professor Dumbledore is here too? He's not with you?"

Percy nodded as if not caring, and began to grope on the wall again. Tao Wu, who had been staring at him, noticed that he had just breathed a sigh of relief.

The silver statue of Merlin in the corridor was holding a wand, and under the light, its sapphire pupils were staring at the back of his head, as if examining him.

"I think we have to find them quickly, and then find a way to take the children of Hogwarts away from this dangerous place. This place is really too bad."

His hand fell on the wall again, and he kept muttering to himself, as if he was anxious to prove himself to Tao Wu.

But amidst Percy's voice, she heard the faint sound of the elevator running -

Someone is coming.

"Merlin's socks, how are you so badly injured, Selwyn, my old friend!"

Percy called behind Taowu.

Selwyn walked over slowly and said, "Why did you tell Miss Luna all this nonsense? It would be fine if you just told us normally, but if Fudge knew about it, you'd be finished!"

He said as he poked Percy in the small of his back, it looked like the two of them were on good terms.

"Did you find your brother?"

"What a pity! There is no mechanism here. I have even checked the curtains inside. It is hard to imagine where Flamel took them!"

Percy shook his head in annoyance, and calmly withdrew his right hand from Merlin's wand and put it into the pocket of his windbreaker uniform.

"Then let's get out of here."

Selwyn hooked his uninjured arm around Percy, but his eyes were fixed on Taowu.

Tao Wu didn't notice his gaze, she just felt it was very strange, with a strong sense of disobedience lingering in her heart.

She refused: "I still want to see if Harry and the others have left any clues for me. If the Ministry of Magic has other tasks, you can leave first and don't worry about me."

Percy said as he walked towards the elevator, his hands moving in his pockets as if he had just hidden something in the pocket of his windbreaker.

Tao Wu and Selwin looked at each other.

Selwyn immediately understood what Percy meant, and he immediately followed Percy: "I think there are no nasty Muggles in the Department of Mysteries. Miss Luna must be safe. I'd better take you back to find Fudge. Those idiots have surrounded him!"

I watched them both get on the elevator. It slowly rose and the number stopped at "2".

Tao Wu reached out and grasped Merlin's wand.

Pull hard.

The floor made a dull sound, and a staircase leading downwards suddenly appeared before her.
